Conference Aims
In International Year of Astronomy (IYA2009) that highlighted by the 400th anniversary of the first use of an astronomical telescope by Galileo Galilei, research institute of astronomy and astrophysics of Maragha (RIAAM) and ShAO observatory cooperate two conferences in Iran and Republic of Azerbaijan.
First conference hold on Maragha city devoted to the Maragha Observatory‘s 750th years anniversary on 23-25 May 2009 and second conference hold on Baku or Nechivan devoted to 50 th years jubiles of ShAO.
